Over several years, Hendricks acquired items and furniture to make up the entire furnishings of a room where a person could live alone in simple circumstances. These furnishings were shredded and used to fill a transparent PVC sack. It contains, amongst other things, a bed with a mattress and bedding, a bedside table, a wardrobe, a table, two chairs, a wastepaper basket, an ashtray, a shelf with a select library, pictures, a lamp, a coffee machine with two cups, a radio, a clock, a vase.
